Off to Iowa!

Shawn and I are headed to Iowa today to hunt with our good friends from Whitetail Properties, Jason Smith and Chad Freeberg. They have been hunting and been seeing some nice bucks moving during daylight hours. Jason actually passed up a 140″ 3 year old just the other morning. After talking to some of the other guys hunting in Iowa, I think our timing is perfect. Starting Monday the weather looks great. Hopefully I can fill my first ever Iowa tag! Here are some of the Iowa giants that we will be chasing over the next week or so!

  1. After hunting up there all of last week and seeing a ton of does not being chased…I think we will be hitting the rut perfect. Should be full swing!
