MO Opener is in the books….

Trevor and I hunted North MO tonight and had a great sit.  No mature deer, but a really nice 2 year old 10 that would go upper 30’s to 40 now, so it was good to see him.  Hopefully we can get him another year or two under his belt before taking him.  Other than that guy it was does, fawns and small bucks.  Had a great sit, great sunset and smiles from start to end.  Whitetail season is here!

Best of luck to everyone in the woods.  Be safe and hunt hard!

  1. Man I envy you. I still have to wait 3 weeks before I can watch the sun come up from my treestand. Oh well. I just hope I can bag the buck I’m after. I have a 170/180 class 10 that I saw last year and this spring a friend of mine found a shed from him about 100 yards from where I saw him. 14 1/2 inch G2’s and 13 1/2 inch G3’s and awesome mass. AAARRRG can I fast forward 3 weeks please.

Great luck to you and your friends the rest of the season. Cant wait for season 3.
