Illinois Scouting Trip

This past weekend, Shawn, Larry, Trish and I headed to Illinois for a summer scouting trip.  This was Trish’s first trip for this type of thing, so it was fun for me….and we brought our little pup Zoey along.  The guys in Illinois really have soem great land and know it well.  The food plots coupled with the corn and beans make this place look like a grocery market!  Cant wait to spend some time in the tree out there!

  1. Had a great time up there with everyone. Heartland Whitetails
will always be highly recommended by me.
Hopefully that corn dries out soon up there or there will not be any left. It is no wonder the deer are so big up there…They eat the stalk and all.

  2. Who ever wins the trip will be one lucky hunter. I love the sound of it……The Heartland Connection.
